Director – CC&B and Special Projects

    The Director of CC&B and Special Projects is responsible for managing the systems required to ensure accurate billing, payment application, data collection, processing, modeling, analysis and reporting, supporting LUMA’s objectives. Reporting to the Vice President of Customer Operations, the Director coordinates, prioritizes and executes the different tasks that must be completed by their team including Oracle Billing System configuration, performance, testing, interfacing system and overall customer data management & reporting. The Director will coach, mentor and support the team.


    • Lead a team of direct reports, contractors, consultants and interdisciplinary teams to achieve project and organization objectives.
    •  Coordinate prioritization of vendor and contract deliverables with ITOT, Regulatory, Finance, and associated departments to meet project timelines.
    • Oversee execution of testing strategies and plans to ensure proper operation of system design and implementation across CC&B and interfaced systems; regularly audit user compliance and access.
    • Apply project management tools and techniques to manage team project deliverables and budget requirements. Manage development of business requirements, support solution design for CC&B and interconnected systems and support business process changes to align with system functionality.
    • Lead the development of system roadmap and long-term planning in coordination with enterprise teams and contractors or consultants.
    • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in regulatory proceedings, internal working groups and external engagements on behalf of LUMA
    • Developing annual budgets and business plans to ensure adequate resources are available to meet key goals, objectives, regulatory requirements, timelines and performance targets.
    • Support Billing Services and broader Customer Experience action plans and recommendations to continue to improve efficiency and accuracy through process and system innovation.
    • Mentor, coach and support team members, developing continuous growth opportunities and succession plans.
