This Senior Procurement Manage will lead large and complex sourcing and contracting projects, and provides guidance and direction to lower level sourcing specialists. Provides specialized and professional contract administrator work of a complex nature involving the preparation, management, award, and the administration of equipment, supply, and service and professional and technical services contracts. Involves full procurement life cycle responsibilities and exercises considerable independence in the performance of the duties.
Desired Qualification:
- Must have at least 7 years of progressive experience in procurement, category management and strategic sourcing
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- Professional certification preferred from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), APICS, the National Institute of Government Purchasing (NIGP), or National Contracts Management Association (NCMA), or the ability to obtain certification from any of these organizations within one (1) year of employment.
- Bachelor’s Degree, Masters Preferred in a Business, Technical, or related field from an accredited college or university
